This is Ziggy Stardust The Doll! He's cuddly, sparkly, and when he's not playing guitar or sax, he loves raiding Barbie's closet and trying to make out with Ken. He also stares fixatedly at the Mechanical Animals album cover from time to time. I think it reminds him of his girlfriend back on Mars...
Ziggy is about 16 inches tall and is made entirely of fabric. His hair is yarn. I embroidered his face and added Swarovski crystals to the forehead circle. He's got a beaded earring and two outfits so far - a replica of the mini-kimono and a knit bodysock with bracelets. I added little red nipples too, 'cause he just wouldn't look quite right without them (heehee!). The only thing I didn't make that's shown above is the guitar. It took aaaagggeessss to make this little dude and I love him so much! <3 <3 <3 *~Ziggy Stardust is my god~* |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
